INTRODUCING SHERRY FINZER

Limon will welcome world-renowned flutist, Sherry Finzer at the Lincoln Theatre on Monday, September 25, 2023.
Sherry is good friends with Barbara and Bradley Butler. She has performed many times at their home and in venues around Grand Junction where they live.
On her current tour Sherry booked some performances in Colorado Springs and the Butlers suggested she take a drive out to their hometown of Limon.
After researching the town and realizing there are a lot of music lovers in Lincoln County, Sherry readily agreed that it would be fun to perform in Limon.
Sherry believes that music can be used as a tool to create relaxation and healing. Her musical journey has taken her from classical to jazz, pop, world, and flamenco, to today, where she feels she does her best work by helping to create a space filled with calming beauty.
While Sherry is an expert at playing all sorts of flutes, she specializes in the low flutes - alto, bass, and contrabass, as well as Native flutes.
Sherry is a featured artist on the GRAMMY Nominated Album “The Passenger,” and has recorded numerous albums with a variety of exceptional artists. She manages her record label, Heart Dance Records, and helps to promote a wide range of music from many talented performers.
Her latest album, The Gratitude Project, explores a time of rebirth and realizing that it is okay to change the direction of your life. It also symbolizes the need for strength, focus and courage, and to stand up for what you believe in.
To attend the show, please be in your seats at the Lincoln Theatre in Limon by 6:45 p.m. The show begins at 7:00 p.m. The performance is free, but donations of $10 per person are requested. Sherry will also have a variety of her CDs available for sale after the show.
