Diana Louise Sterling was born April 6, 1944, to George Franklin and Alberta Imogene (Johnson) Sage in Denver, Colorado.  Diana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many, passed away on December 4, 2024, at her home in Hugo, Colorado.

Diana graduated from Lakewood High School in 1962 and married Robert Eugene Ashmore.  Two children were born to this union:  Gregory Lee and Pamela Sue.  While this marriage ended, Diana remarried William Louis Fabrizio and had two children:  Melissa Leann and a son, Billy, that passed away shortly after birth.  Diana was also married to Robert Frederick Lyons and Kenneth Lawrence Sterling.

Diana loved gardening along side her husband, Ken; scrapbooking; sewing; cake decorating; crafting and spending time with her children, grandchildren and extended family.  Diana always had a smile and was willing to lend a helping hand to one and all. 

Diana is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Hugo, CO; her children, Gregory (Linda) Ashmore of Hugo, CO; Pamela (Gene) Bennett of Deerfield, KS; Melissa (Travis) Lucero of Hugo, CO; step-children, Susan Havens of Midway, AR; Timothy (Bonnie) Sterling of Caldwell, ID; Jonathan (Eva) Sterling of Sioux City, IA; Nancy (Erik) Sterling-Petioles of Denver, CO; 34 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Diana is also survived by her loving sister-in-law, Anita Sage of Westminster, CO; sister-in-law, Shirley McKeever of Longmont, CO; brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Carole Sterling of Monument, CO; sister-in-law Connie Sterling of Monument, CO; her aunt and uncle, Robert and Bonnie Johnson of Lakewood, CO;  lifelong friend, Lelani Bronson; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. 

Diana is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Billy; her step-son, Christopher Sterling; sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jean Patton and Donald Patton; brother, Royal Franklin Sage, and Robert (Bob) Lyons.

Memorial services will be held January 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hugo United Methodist Church, with burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Hugo, Colorado.
