ESTHER IRENE ENDERSON

Esther Irene Enderson (Pauli), 93, passed away on March 7, 2025. Esther, or Pauli, as she was known to many, was born August 19, 1931, in Morrowville County, Kansas. She was the youngest of 15 children.

She grew up on a farm between Kirk & Vona where the family raised cattle, hogs & chickens. After graduating from Yuma High School, she attended Barnes Business School.

She got a job as a secretary at the Denver Livestock Commission where she met her husband, Ivan. They were married for 67 years. They bought Ivan's family farm and moved north of Arriba in 1957, where they lived together until his death in 2019.

Esther enjoyed puzzles and games of any type and spending time with her family.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Pauli Ann Jones of Flagler and Raymond Enderson of Arriba. Also, by her grandchildren Andy (Josie) Jones, Zach Jones and Sally (Jim) Diamond and her great-grandchildren, SamiJo (Bryson) Winterberg and Tucker Jones. In addition, she had two precious great-great grandchildren that she loved to watch as they played with all of their new technological gadgets.

Graveside services were held at The Arriba Cemetery on Wednesday, March 12 at 1:30 followed by a gathering at The Lutheran Church in Arriba.
