Limon High School students are collecting food for Lincoln County Christmas Basket Program. Students dropped off bags on the doors of residents and will return on Thursday, December 5 starting at 4:00 p.m. to pick up the bags. Place your filled bags on your front step or porch, where it can be seen from the road. If we miss you, please call Tami at 719-760-0705. All of the food will go to families in need in Lincoln County. Please put only non-perishable items in the bags. We cannot accept home canned goods or open packages. Thank you for your support!!!

CHRISTMAS VESPERS

CONCERT

Come and enjoy the sounds of the Christmas season Sunday, December 8th. The Limon/Woodlin Music Club will be performing their Christmas Vespers Concert at 3:00 pm at the Limon Methodist Church.

 

CHRISTMAS BASKET

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Each day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. except Friday.

Monday, December 9.  Sort donated food and prepare for food bagging.  (Sloppy Joe lunch provided)

Tuesday, December 10.  Bag sacks of food and box donated food for each family.  (Chili lunch provided)

Wednesday, December 11.  Wrap gifts and sort gifts.  (Soup lunch provided)

Thursday, December 12.  Assist sponsors and families picking up food & gifts and deliver Christmas Baskets.

Friday, December 13, 2024

Assist families picking up food and gifts.   9:30 a.m. – Noon or until done

TROMBONE CHOIR TO PERFORM SATURDAY

DECEMBER 21ST

It's a festive season, and what could possibly be more festive than the Eastern Colorado Trombone Choir performing your favorite Christmas tunes?  Come and be delighted!  This admission free concert is expected to last about an hour and will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 21st, at the Limon Methodist Church (770 B Avenue).  Refreshments will follow!

 

FOOD PANTRY HOURS

We know that there are times when a person or family is in need of some assistance. The Limon Methodist Church has a food pantry available to help at 770 B Ave.  Hours are Tuesday 10 a.m. to Noon and Wednesday 4-5:30 p.m.
