John William Craig, Johnny Bill, 43 years old, passed away in his home December 17, 2024.  He was born on June 13, 1981, in Hugo, CO., to John Foster Craig III and Elizabeth Moxon Craig. He was the second of four children, Molly Craig, Jacob Craig, and Maggie Craig (Hackbarth).

He was a proud resident of Limon, CO through high school. Bill graduated from Colorado College in 2022, where he played football as a tight end and was awarded multiple distinctions, including team Captain and Offensive Champion.

After college, he immediately began a career in banking, working with multiple banking institutions and  eventually becoming Executive Vice President of Stockmens Bank. He was a member of the Pikes Peak Range Riders, and served on the committee for the Ride for Brand Ranch Rodeo.

He married his wife, Natalie Watson, in 2009. They had two sons, John Craig and William Craig. In 2015, Bill returned to Limon to pursue his lifelong passion for ranching. He owned and operated his family’s ranch till his death. 

Bill is survived by his wife, two sons, and his father. He is preceded in death by his mother. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Hugo Fairgrounds in Hugo, CO., January 30, 2025.
