Shirley Chesterman would like to thank everyone for being concerned about her being sick this past week.  Thanks to Delia Jewell for doing extra things for her and being her driver,

A Pre-Thanksgiving dinner was held at the home of  Frances Mattson on Saturday, the 23rd.  Those attending were Monty, Connie Mattson, Derik, Lois, Alijah, Chase Mattson, Daren Mattson, Carlene, Matt, Conner, Taylor, Thelen, Tyler, Krista, Lexley and Linda Mattson.  Earlier in the day the majority assisted Monty in preg testing cows.

Delia Jewell spent some time this past week with her sisters in Colorado Springs. 

Lois and Jim Stone and Rita Peteque went to Hugo on Saturday and attended the Jr. High basketball tournament.

Marlene Pfost and Alice Williams went to Rush to the Miami Yoder School for the vendor fair on Saturday. 

Bonnie Hart made a trip to Denver to spend some time with family and friends and her grandson.

Noah Seymour celebrated his 4th birthday at home with his parents Nathan and Hannah and brother Luke, Barry and Vicky Seymour, Cherry and Carl Stogsdill, Jeff and Tammy Thornton on the evening of Nov. 13th. All had a very fun time. 

Barney and Linda Burch were visitors at Carl and Cherry's Thursday  afternoon on their way home from Dr's appointment in Hugo. 

Cherry Stogsdill enjoyed a nice visit with Vicky on Saturday afternoon at the Seymour's home.

Questions about Christmas

What kind of music does Santa listen to the week before Christmas?  “Wrap” music.

What kind of sheets does the gingerbread man put on his bed?  Cookie sheets.

What do you call a bankrupt Santa?  Saint Nickel-less.

Why are Christmas trees so bad at sewing?  Because they drop their needles.

How do the elves clean Santa’s sleigh on the day after Christmas?  They use Santa-tizer.

Knock, Knock!  Who’s there?  Tree!  Tree who?  Tree wise men.

Why is it so cold at Christmas?  Because it’s in  Decemberrrrrrrrr !!

As a little girl climbed onto Santa’s lap, Santa asked the usual question “What would you like for Christmas?”  The child stared at him open mouthed and horrified for a minute, then gasped, “Didn’t you get my E-mail?”
