February 19, 1946, - November 9, 2020
Keith Eugene Arfsten was born on February 19, 1946 in Limon, CO. to Raymond and Mary Arfsten. He was the fifth of six children and the youngest of the well-known "Arfsten Boys" from Limon.
Keith was a standout athlete during his school years, wrestling and playing football before graduating from Limon High School in 1964.
Over the course of his life, he worked many jobs, but would often say his two main careers were "Coors and training horses".
Keith devoted 47 years to the Adolph Coors Company, making him the longest-serving employee at the time of his retirement in 2016. Throughout his tenure, he worked in various departments but spent the majority of his time in the brewhouse, ultimately serving as 'Leadman' of the brewery.
Alongside his brewing career, Keith had a lifelong love for horses. He trained racehorses and later in life, raised horses and proudly showed them at the Denver Stock Show. Keith was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2015, and his health declined over the following years. He passed away on November 9, 2020.
