December 21 at the Limon Community Building, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  The American Legion will be serving soup and hot chocolate starting at noon.

Special kid’s free showing:  1:00 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 21.  Sponsored by Limon Correctional Facility offenders. 

Special Sunday Dec. 22 showing: 6:00 p.m.  All attendees 12 and under get free admission and small popcorn/drink sponsored by CKLECC (Cheyenne-Kiowa-Lincoln Early Childhood Council).

 

TROMBONE CHOIR TO PERFORM SATURDAY

DECEMBER 21ST

It's a festive season, and what could possibly be more festive than the Eastern Colorado Trombone Choir performing your favorite Christmas tunes?  Come and be delighted!  This admission free concert is expected to last about an hour and will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 21st, at the Limon Methodist Church (770 B Avenue).  Refreshments will follow!

 

LIMON PARADE OF LIGHTS

December 21 at 5 p.m.

CASH PRIZES for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.  Line Up –  4:00 p.m. at Limon School.  ALL ENTRIES MUST BE ILLUMINATED!!  The Chamber asks that you do NOT have Santa on your float because they already have Santa Claus in the parade. 

 

BOYERO BRIDGE

REPLACEMENT PROJECT 

This week crews will be working on concrete and dirt removal, as well as subgrade preparation for the section of road that will be widened and paved near the new bridge.   

Motorists Should Plan For:  Gradual speed limit reduction to 45 m.p.h. through the detour, width restriction of 12’ in effect until the new bridge is completed, heavy trucks and construction equipment entering and exiting the construction zone.

Motorists should use caution when traveling through this area.

 

FOOD PANTRY HOURS

The Limon Methodist Church has a food pantry at 770 B Ave.  Hours are Tuesday 10 a.m. to Noon and Wednesday 4-5:30 p.m.
