LIMON CHAMBER

MEETING

The Limon Chamber of Commerce’s Power Hour will be held July 11th, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Schoolhouse hosted by Eastern Colorado Veterinary Services. Colorado Department of Labor and Employment’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation will present on Business Etiquette Training.

GRAINS FROM THE PLAINS WHEAT HARVEST FESTIVAL

JULY 13 11 a.m. till 6 p.m. Come celebrate the harvest with us. Straw rides, games, petting zoo and you can see where your wheat comes from. See more information on page 6.

FOOD PANTRY HOURS

We know that there are times when a person or family is in need of some assistance. The Limon Methodist Church has a food pantry available to help. The address is 770 B Ave.  We are open the following hours: Tuesday 10 a.m. to Noon and Wednesday 4-5:30 p.m.

Limon American Legion Post #2017 is now meeting at the Hub City Senior Center in Limon. Meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month. Meeting times are: 5 p.m. Meet & Greet, 6 p.m. Legion Family Meeting, 7 p.m. Legion Auxiliary Meeting, 7 p.m. SAL & Riders Meeting. Please try to attend.  New members are welcome!
