FUNDRAISER GARAGE SALE

The Limon Methodist Women of Faith are holding a fundraiser Garage Sale on Saturday, June 29th from 8 a.m. -3 p.m. at 1111 10th Street in Limon. Donations are needed! Please drop off clean, gently used donations June 23-27 between 4-6 p.m. or by appointment by calling or texting Becky at 719-740-2408.

MEETING NOTICE

The Limon Chamber of Commerce’s Power Hour will be held June 13th, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Schoolhouse hosted by Peak Vista. They will present on their Sliding Scale and enrollment, dental and medical services.

We invite you to display one or more of your old or new quilts during our 31st Annual Heritage Day on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Please bring your quilts to the Limon Town Hall on Friday, June 14, 2024 after 2:00 pm.0

LIMON HERITAGE MUSEUM

The Limon Heritage Museum Complex will be open for the 2024 season. Our new hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 - 4, Sunday 1 - 4 Our Heritage Day Celebration is scheduled for June 15, 2024. We have new displays and a soft opening for our 1920’s restored Gates House. Our featured event will be Cowboy Poets Floyd and Valerie Beard. We will have food vendors, a petting zoo and free face painting. Plan to bring the family.

FOOD PANTRY HOURS

We know that there are times when a person or family is in need of some assistance. The Limon Methodist Church has a food pantry available to help. The address is 770 B Ave.  We are open the following hours: Tuesday 10 a.m. to Noon and Wednesday 4-5:30 p.m.

GENOA AMERICAN LEGION

Looking for current military or military veteran members. We are a small community with a big spirit. Please contact Commander Gillis at 719-760-0744 for more information.

AMERICAN LEGION MEETING

Limon American Legion Post #2017 is now meeting at the Hub City Senior Center in Limon. Meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month. Meeting times are: 5 p.m. Meet & Greet, 6 p.m. Legion Family Meeting, 7 p.m. Legion Auxiliary Meeting, 7 p.m. SAL & Riders Meeting. Please try to attend.  New members are welcome!
