MEET AND GREET

Dagny Van Der Jagt and George Brauchler are candidates for the 23rd Judicial District of Colorado. Meet them on Friday May 17 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds Ellis Allen Building in Hugo. Your attendance is valuable to hear what they have to say about their campaigns.

NOTICE OF MEETING

Karval Community Club will be having a meeting on May 17 at 4:00 p.m. at the Community Building to discuss the USDA Equipment Grant and the Karval Park.

2024 LLOYD GASKILL ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME RECEPTION

Three former Limon High School athletes will join other athletes who have been recognized for their athletic achievements as Lloyd Gaskill Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. This year’s inductees include Sharon McCarthy-Hansen, L.D. Meier, and Caitlyn Hubbard-Pullos. Please stop by the Newsom-Christenson Activity Building lobby to congratulate them and visit with them from 5:00-5:45 before the L Club banquet.

KARVAL MEMORIAL DAY

Karval Memorial Day Services will be held May 27 at Bucklen Cemetery, 9:15 am with the Hugo VFW participating. A second service will be at Karval Cemetery around 10:00 am with the Maverick Color Guard. Rylee Corn will present the National Anthem. Coffee, donuts & cinnamon rolls served before and after services. If you wish to help with the flag procession, meet at the gate 10 minutes before each service.
