The Town of Limon will be performing a water distribution system flushing through fire hydrants on Tuesday, October 21st. The Town crew will start on the northwest side of town at 7:00 a.m. and progress to the east and south. Citizens are encouraged to avoid using water within your house or business as they flush the system in your area and be sure to run water through an outside faucet after they go beyond your neighborhood to clear your private service line. Presence of discolored water will be likely during the process which is necessary to reduce unanticipated future occurrences and to enhance consistent disinfection. Your assistance with the process and your patience and understanding during this necessary system maintenance is greatly appreciated.
